Thrift Stores.... ):

Okay. I know alot of people who shop for school clothes at thrift stores, and alot are my friends! So i am not being offensive cuz I think its just fine! you go right on ahead and... shop there.
So anyways. I decided to enter a blog entry on thrift stores. My opinion on them, so no comments on how rude im being mkay?! mkay.
I PERSONALLY am disgusted by thrift stores. I am probably one of those people causing global warming too. Considering I do not want to buy clothes used or shoes that were used, or bikes that were used. It just makes me wanna puke when I go into thrift stores! I dont even know why! I see alot of people with pretty decent stuff from thrift stores. But yet, when I walk in there, I have like anxiety atacks.
I am like crazy! i also HATE ross and all those stores that you have to search everywhere to find what you want. I HATE IT!!! I mean they are so unorganized. and i have some stuff from there, but the whole finding process was not pleasurable...
So, I would much rather shop in a place that that everything is just right there, with a label that says SHIRTS or PANTS or WOMENS SHOES.
But ya, thrift stores are not on my shopping place list at all. Sorry ross. but you ar a no go for me.
but im super excited to go shopping at the mall!
yupyup so dont be offended peeps.

Costa Rica #3 - The exciting swim in the ocean

Once again I am adding to the Costa rica stories. Hope yall are excited!
Okay, this one is going to be about when we went swimming in the ocean. and although that doesn't sound very unusual to be doing in a tropical counrty, it was the only time we actually swam in the ocean. Well, it was a humid, very warm, day, ever since morning hit. We rode a pretty long bus ride, and arrived at a very pretty beach. The sand, was the usual, white sand, tall palm trees, and crystal clear ocean water. The absolutte, tropical paradise.
Many people lay happily on towels and beach chairs, tan and in bikinis and speedos.
I was layering on a fair amount of waterproof sunscreen before I plunged into the water.
I was very anxious. I never swam in an ocean with such large exciting waves. I rushed into the water, that felt refreshing and as warm as a casual summer pool! i swam for a long time. The waves unfortunatley managed to pull me under, casuing me to engulf a gallon of salty water. Every time i dunked under, I had to rub the salt from my eyes and spit out a mouthful of very salty water! Only soon did I realize under my eyes burned and stung each time I rubbed. I was sunburned there! It hurt and because I swallowed so much salty water, I felt sick. So i ordered a lime snocone. Yummy!
Then i swam again. got out, had another sno cone. Good times. good times.
It was all very exciting. We jumped waves and soon i caught on that I had to dive into the waves, otherwise i would get knocked down.....
the most freaky thing thathappened was probably when kate drifted off like a 1ong way out and the lifegaurds had to go save her....
but it was sooo fun!

Costa Rica: Part 2- the Huge Storm!

After me and Hannah were in the pool, followed by the rest of the kids, the rain started pouring so hard, we couldn't even see.
It was fun until a HUGE crack of lightning scared the crap out of us. The life guard told us to evacuate the pool. that was just the beginning. Lightning lit the sky for hours on end. When we had dinner, the storm was crazy!
Suddenly the lights went out, it was PITCH black, seriously. we all like, screamed. the power was out for hours, it was so dark, eventually we all went to bed, but on my way to the room, out of the corner of my eye when a flash of lightning struck, I saw a snake strike three inches from my bare foot! I screamed, but we couldn't get in the room, so emma and courtney had to let me in theirs.
it freaked me out dude! i was like to scared to leave the room any more!

Costa Rica: Part 1- The Broken Down Bus

Costa Rica: Part 1- The Broken Down Bus

On the Gianni's trip to Costa Rica with EF tours, in April 2007, our group went through a series of awesome, and crazy events.
One of them, I remember so clearly in my mind, was when the tour bus, broke down on the side of the road.
That was sort of exciting, but terribly torturous.
First off, the weather on that side of Costa Rica, was EXTREMELY HOT!! so hot! Dude, the sun was killing us. The bus was broken, so the air conditioning of course, didn't work. ):
Our group was stuck out there, in the burning heat, for like an hour.
The worst part was, we were on the edge of a beautiful beach. The worst part? your probably asking. Yeah, the worst part!
You see, we couldn't even go near the shore, because supposively the undertow current was so strong. it was too dangerous to climb down the cliff to get to it anyways.
In the end,the bus started up again, but the air conditioning didn't work! LoL
It was torture.
Me and Hannah and Ella ran so fast to the pool when we got to the next hotel! It started pouring rain and felt sooooo good!
it rocked.
